Overview

Our client is a skincare brand available in leading retail pharmacy chains nationwide. They have a unique opportunity for a passionate, results-driven, high-performance Junior Retail Sales & Operations Lead to join their Cape Town team.

 

This dynamic sales role offers exciting career growth and promotion. It requires extensive travel throughout Cape Town, visiting the various malls to support and inspire the sales promoters where the products are available.

This is a permanent, full-time role.

 

 

Purpose of Role

  1. Generating revenue – the primary role of sales is to generate revenue for the company. Salespeople are responsible for selling products or services to customers and their success is measured by their ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  2. Building relationships – salespeople play a critical role in building relationships with customers, their team and salesfloor staff. They are often the first point of contact for potential customers and are responsible for establishing trust and rapport both externally and internally. By building strong relationships, salespeople can help to increase brand awareness
  3. Representing the company – salespeople are the face of the company and are responsible for representing the company in a positive light. They must be knowledgeable about the company's products and services and be able to communicate effectively with customers. They also need to be professional, courteous and reliable

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Brand Presence: drive sales targets to meet and ideally exceed them

                                                  ensure and product maintains a strong footprint in the stores

  1. Recruit & Train Employees: identify top sales promotion talent within Cape Town to recruit

                                                      ensure they excel through effective training programs and hands-on management

  1. Build Strong Relationships: develop trust with employees and foster a positive work culture

                                                      motivate the team to care deeply about their roles

  1. Leadership: be a leader who inspires and role models hard work, productivity and accountability

Qualifications

  • Education = Matric Certificate (minimum)
  • Experience = 3+ years in a high-performance sales position

 

 

Must Haves

  • Be a target-driven self-starter who can keep motivated on their own and collaborate within a team in different locations
  • Hold a valid Driver’s Licence with a reliable car
